secure messaging within Canopy App
It would be great if there was a way to securely communicate within the Canopy app with the client. For example, you can chat within a client request, but the information remains there and is not easily accessible once the task is completed. Is there a way that could be set up on the main page without always having to generate a client request. That way Clients can ask questions or be asked questions without the risk of any information being compromised in an email.

There is a a workaround on this that we deployed... We add a client request on every client that says "CHAT- ABC Company with your XYZ CPA Team" we set the due date to 12/31/2030 with no reminders and record the following message on each request: "Please use this client request to communicate with your XYZ CPA Team. Do not mark this request as "Complete" as it will serve as our ongoing chat line."
It works perfectly.
