  1. It would be great if there was a way to securely communicate within the Canopy app with the client. For example, you can chat within a client request, but the information remains there and is not easily accessible once the task is completed. Is there a way that could be set up on the main page without always having to generate a client request. That way Clients can ask questions or be asked questions without the risk of any information being compromised in an email.

  2. So sad the feature to mass send invite is gone! I have spent the last month getting all my clients setup and now that it is time to invite them all to the client portal, there is no more mass invite. Apparently the new version does not have this feature anymore. I am going to spend hours getting this done :(

    Highly recommend bringing it back.

  4. Karbon offers a template sharing option where members can crowdsource and share their workfkow templates, engagement letters and reports. Canopy NEEDS this. It would cut the learning curve and implementation drastically.

  7. When pulling an insight report for tasks based on due dates, archived tasks should not appear. This creates a false illusion that a large percentage of tasks are not being completed.

  11. Since we are able to bulk add a client owner, we should be able to bulk remove a client owner or even have the ability to remove the entered text in the client owner field in the about section.

  12. We have clients with more than one business. We created a group to see all associate names in the group. In the billing section, I would like to see the balance or open invoices for the group. Now, I can only view it one by one.

  13. With QuickBooks, I was able to match check payments with total bank deposits and print out a list of all payments made via check. I would love for that to be an option.

  14. Option to create recurring task before the recurrence is set to create automatically.

    There are times that we have a recurring task that has been set to be created in the future but we need to begin working on it early. Providing the option to go to the previously completed task and forcing it to create earlier but will automatically continue with the original recurrence schedule.

  15. You should be able to save the email in it's email format to files. For example, our office uses Outlook and we would like to save our emails in it's original email format (.msg) so we can open it in Canopy and view the email itself including attachments, etc.

  16. Canopy is not updating to new IRS forms. This is a real problem. Tried to call customer service, no one available, hung up on me. As if the chat will actually deal with this issue.
