Auto create tasks when client profile is created
Be able to setup an automation upon client creation in canopy to auto assign task to this client. This is helpful in making sure no one gets lost through the cracks with onboarding new clients and that that moment they hit canopy there is a task to take action on.

Set-up recurring Tasks on specific days of the month
Being able to set recurring tasks start date on the first//second/last X day of the month.
A firm that works Tue-Wed-Thu, would like to be able to set the start day of their monthly recurring tasks on the first Tuesday of the month, or the last Wednesday of the month.

New billing update is a HUGE downgrade
Taking away the ability to customize invoices on the quantity and rate lines is going to force us to have to find a new software management program. We have a 100ish clients and each client has different rates for each service. Some of our clients rates change with each new engagement letter and we can no longer customize the rates. Not allowing us to change the quantity (hours) if we go over hours on our contract and can't bill for them makes it very difficult. If we have to adjust the employee time to match it affects our payroll. Canopy…

Disable Partial Pay Option in Portal
Right now clients can choose to pay a partial amount on an invoice, this is effectively giving clients the ability to create a payment plan without authorization. We need a way to disable the partial pay option for invoices in the portal.

Can you make the file preview in the new Files Interface Redesign quicker please? I work in Canopy to view files one at a time and the new interface just added a significant amount of time to my workflow.

non-chargeable time entry
We'd like to be able to enter time to clients that we don't intend to charge for. For example, client setup, we might spend an hour to setup a new client in our tax software in order to kick out a tax organizer. The trigger for chargeable time is when time is entered on a client, but it would be nice if the trigger was the service item being chargeable or not chargeable. Being able to pick whether a service item is chargeable or not would be very helpful.

Bulk Email Embedded Image Capability
I would like to suggest an enhancement to the Canopy platform that would allow users to send bulk emails with embedded images. This feature would be highly beneficial for creating and executing email campaigns to clients, as it would enable a more professional and visually engaging communication experience.

File Tab Worse Than Ever
Can we please have an option to change the Files tab back to the previous format. This new format has added so much more time to my work and has made things difficult. I cannot keep working on a half-baked system. Please give us an option to change it back.

Tasks & Subtasks set up with service item
Need to be able to associate tasks and subtasks to a service item. If there was a way to set up a task to a service item that automatically flowed to the subtasks, that would be beneficial. When time is launched from the subtasks, service items currently are not being assigned. This would help track time and projects more efficiently.

Allow us to toggle inactive/deleted employees on/off on the Time Entries screen.
On the time entries screen when we click the team member column to filter down, all deleted and inactive employee are still listed. I would like them to not display unless I toggle them on. We've been using Canopy for several years and have a larger firm, so the list of former employees in the dropdown is becoming long and cumbersome.

Client Home Screen View
It would be extremely helpful if the upcoming Events section of a clients home screen be changed to show a LIST of the scheduled event items for that client instead of only showing events for 5 days.

Add opt out option for scheduled liveboard emails
When someone else schedules you to receive a liveboard email (e.g. hourly, daily, weekly, monthly), there is no "opt-out" function. I am able to see that someone else created a schedule that includes me, but I cannot edit it and remove myself. There is also no opt-out option on the email I receive.

Allow all folder content to be visible to clients
Please give the option to make an entire folder's contents visible on the client's portal. Also, add an option to make all folder contents visible to client when setting up a folder template.

Have a daily report that you can export of all the payments and if they were checks or not.

Text reminders and requests
Many people do not respond to or even check their email so they never receive our document requests and/or appointment reminders. If Canopy could offer a "we need your documents before your appointment" texting option, even to integrate with an existing phone system like Ring Central, that'd be a HUGE time saver!

Client Requests coming from Company Name NOT a specific person
When sending client requests they are being sent to the client as the following, "Giovanna needs you to provide the following information”. We would like this to show as just company name or a role so it doesn’t show a employees specific name. We have employees that switch clients all the time and don't want them getting confused with the recurring client requests.
